Hello Rashmi There are many colleges/ academy/ institutes /university that offers short term courses for sound mixing and recording. If you have decided to do this than your job is to find the academy/institute of your choice that offers this course. You can pursue the certificate course in this or if you have time than you can go for Diploma. Its upto you that how you will handle both the courses.

Hello Rashmi,Sound and audio doesn't have much difference, both are identical. Sound or audio engineering is a profession in which an engineer works upon the mixing up of various sounds, overpower them, refines the audio, removes unnecessary noise, cleaning up etc. One who do this may be called as sound mixer, sound technician, and audio technician. Hello there!
The best way to prepare for entrance exam for FTII & SRFTII is download previous years question papers and check out the modules they have asked for. Such as Mathematics, abstract reasoning, General awareness, Indian culture, Indian drama history, architecture , folk music. For interview prepare basic question about the course you would like to pursue. and get proper knowledge on it. Good luck !

Both are the branches are some what same as Like Computer and IT branch. There is little bit difference that in TV engineering there is hardware work and in Sound recording you have some of software part. Best of luck for your future and if any query, feel free to ask.
