If you do not perform well in one section of the SPJAT, it may affect your overall score, but it doesn't necessarily disqualify you. SPJAT evaluates overall performance across all sections, and SP Jain School of Global Management takes a holistic approach in its admission process. Strong performance in other sections, along with factors like your academic background, work experience, and interview performance, can compensate for a weaker section. Additionally, SP Jain doesn't specify sectional cut-offs, so performing well overall still provides a good chance for selection.

No, class participation or non-academic criteria are not considered in the SPJAT evaluation itself. The SPJAT exam primarily assesses your aptitude in areas such as logical reasoning, quantitative skills, verbal ability, and general awareness through the entrance exam and selection process. However, in the overall admission process at SP Jain, non-academic criteria like your academic record, work experience, and performance in interviews or group discussions may be considered alongside your SPJAT score.

No, prior management education is not required to take the SPJAT 2025 exam. However, work experience is necessary if you are applying for the Global MBA programme. For the Master of Global Business (MGB) programme, fresh graduates without work experience are eligible to apply.

After the SPJAT exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode, the institute will release a cutoff for the shortlisted candidates. Then the candidates will be required to appear for the further selection process which typically include a personal interview and possibly a group discussion. The difficulty level of the SPJAT exam is generally considered less challenging than the GMAT or GRE. While both tests assess similar skill sets, SPJAT focuses more on practical reasoning and general awareness, and it has a shorter duration. However, strong preparation is necessary to score well in the SPJAT exam.
