The eligibility criteria and the tuition fees are different from institute to institute to take a sports journalism course. Eligibility criteria are as follows, but only as a general guide. Eligibility Criteria:1. Qualification: All courses require a bachelor's degree in any stream, like arts, science, or commerce, from an authenticated university. A degree in journalism, mass communication, or media studies will do just fine but is not an essential qualification.Minimum Marks: It generally requires 50-60% aggregate marks in the 12th standard.2. Entrance Exam:Some colleges and universities conduct entrance exams for getting admission into the course of sports journalism. The criteria for the Jamia Millia Islamia basketball sports quota are as follows:You must have competed for your country, region, state, or international basketball team.If you have played basketball at the university level, then the tournaments must be organized by the Association of Indian Universities.You need to download the application form attached with the admission notice.You have to fill out this form and submit it with a demand draft of Rs. 100 at the university.A trial slip will be given to you, which you must bring to the sport trial. (b) Delhi University's requirements for admission under the sports quota are as follows:If you played basketball for India in certain competitions, you can get direct admission without a sports trial.These games are the Asian Games, Asian Championships, South Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cup, Olympic Games, and Paralympic Games. If not, you must participate in sports trials to be admitted. You will have to register on the official website of DU. You need to upload your sports Certificate along with the application form. A maximum of 40 marks will be taken into account for the sport Certificate. You must receive at least 30 out of the 60 marks in the sports trials to qualify for admission to DU under the sports quota.
