Sports Entrance Exam

SMAT is conducted multiple times in a year. The exam is conducted every month and the monthly schedule is released at IISM website. Candidates can choose to appear for SMAT in the month of their choice and when they are completely prepared for the test.

A candidate who has a keen interest in Sports Management can apply for SMAT for admission to UG or PG courses of their choice.Eligibility criteria for UG courses is Class XII pass with a minimum aggregate of 50% for Open Category & 45% for reserved category in all the subjects.Eligibility criteria for UG courses is Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% for Open Category & 45% for reserved category in all the subjects.

The Sports Proficiency Test is conducted by Delhi University for admission of sport quota students to its bachelor's courses. This test has a weight of 50 percent in the preparation of the merit list for admission under the sports quota and for admission to the B.Sc. In Physical Education, Health Education, and Sports. The test includes sport-specific trials to determine the eligibility of athletes to be admitted to DU. For example, one challenge is crossing over the 91.4-cm-high hurdle. Certain categories, such as Olympic medalists, are exempt from the sport proficiency test.

Admissions will start from mid of June.
