Jadavpur University, according to the state policy, reserves seats for different categories of candidates. The specified reservations are as follows: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 27% for OBC. Apart from this, there are about 3-5% seats reserved under sports quota admission. Furthermore, physically disabled candidates get 3% reservation while economically weaker sections have a 10% reservation.
