For admission to SNU MBA programme, an entrance exam score is mandatory. If a candidate wishes to not appear for SMAT, the university’s own entrance test, then they will have to possess a valid score of CAT/XAT/NMAT/GATE/ GRE/GMAT exams. Only then their application will be accepted for admission.

SMAT is an easy exam. There is no pressure to score a high percentile as well. The SMAT cut off is usually around 60-70 percentile. Questions from VARC, DILR and Quantitative Aptitude are easy in nature and not complicated. SMAT exam does not have negative marking or sectional time limit so there is no added pressure. One can easily solve 60 questions in 90 minutes.

Candidates can check their scores and download the result by logging into their account, created at the time of registration.·       Open Shiv Nadar University website in a new browser·       Click on SNU MBA Admissions 2025·       Go to results section·       Enter login credentials·       Click on result option in the dashboard·       Check score and download scorecard

To appear for SMAT, a student needs to fill the registration form for SNU MBA admission. There are two ways to get admission –through SMAT and through other MBA entrance exams.Upon registration, the candidate will be given the option to choose whether they wish to take the SMAT or not. If they select, SMAT, they will be given exam date and slot. If the candidate clears the exam, they will be shortlisted for GD/PI. For final selection, they need to clear the GD/PI round too.Candidates with CAT/XAT/NMAT/GATE/ GRE/GMAT scores will have to appear for GD/PI round only for admission.

The fee amount to be paid for SMAT is INR 1,800. Candidates have to pay the fee in online mode at the time of application submission. For every attempt, candidates need to register afresh and pay the application fee. Candidates must also note that the SMAT application fee is non refundable.

Yes, SMAT is a mandatory entrance test. Master of Sports Management, PGP in Sports and Wellness Management & PGP in Sports Event Management aspirants can apply with their MAH-CET scores. Such candidates will not have to appear for SMAT.

SMAT is conducted multiple times in a year. The exam is conducted every month and the monthly schedule is released at IISM website. Candidates can choose to appear for SMAT in the month of their choice and when they are completely prepared for the test.
