CSU sponsors 16 NCAA Division I varsity programs in the Mountain West Conference. Also, there are a number of sport clubs at the university. These sports clubs are student-managed teams that train together, travel, and compete on a national level. A few of the sport clubs are Climbing, Golf, Hockey, Tennis, Rugby, Lacrosse, etc. Also, students can take part in intramural sports as they are a great way to engage in the CSU community throughout the entire year.
