Kawaljit Singh, a 2nd-year B.Ed student, represented India at the 2023 International Canoe Federation World Dragon Boat Championship, winning two bronze medals in mixed and men's team events. LPU has the largest and advanced multi-functional Indoor Sports Stadiums with world-class infrastructure, including an Olympic-size all-weather swimming pool. LPU’s multi-purpose indoor stadium is a standout feature of its sports infrastructure. This stadium can host various indoor sporting events and provides ample seating for spectators. It serves as a venue for inter-university competitions, cultural events, and other gatherings. LPU has 20 Badminton Courts, Squash Courts, Shooting Range, Olympic Size Pool, Separate Diving Pool, Wrestling and Boxing Arena, state-of-the-art Gymnasium, and various sports facilities. The university has a state-of-the-art gymnasium with modern equipment and weightlifting machines.
