While both universities are reputed and well known institutes. Maharana Pratap Engineering college is better than SR Group Of Institutions . The former is rated 4.1 out of 5, while the latter is rated 3.5 out of 5 by students. Maharana Pratap Engineering College is also better than SR Group Of Institutions based on fee. B.Tech CSE at Maharana Pratap Engineering College costs approximately 2.45 lacs for the entire course while that at SR Group Of Engineering costs approximately around 3.14 lacs for the entire course. SR Group Of Institutions (SRGI) is a well known educational institute in Lucknow. Placement rates go from 50 percent to 60 percent every year . The highest package offered for the year 2023 was INR 42 lacs per annum, while the lowest was INR 4 lacs per annum. Eligible candidates from the General/OBC category receive a scholarship waiver of Rs. 50,000, and those from the SC/ST category receive Rs. 78,500. The scholarship form can be downloaded from the SRGI website.SRM Group Alumni Scholarship (For Students continuing their study at SRM) Will be benefited with the same scholarship they were availing at their final year of U.G. In case of no scholarship was availed during study of U.G. programme then a Flat 25% scholarship on tuition fees can be granted.
