Both SBMCH and Madras Medical College are good for pursuing medical studies. While Madras Medical College is one of the oldest Medical Colleges in India and has a reputation for the best teaching faculty, SBMCH is definitely as good as Madras Medical College in terms of teaching faculty and infrastructure. SBMCH is a well reputed medical college and hospital in the southern Chennai. One unique thing about the college is it's infrastructure, With more than 1000 beds, and well-equipped operation theatres. The college is nothing less than AIIMS and other dream medical colleges. The faculty focuses on teaching it's students in the most friendly way possible. The campus is ragging free and seniors are amiable. All these things separate it from other colleges.
