Generally, admission into M.Tech at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology involves sending applications online at the Institute's website. The candidates applying for the position should have passed B.Tech / any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50 % marks. The major criterion of admission is GATE scores but candidates without GATE can apply for institute-level entrance exam. Therefore, counselling and seat always have a bearing on the final choice. Yes, it is very much possible to get direct admission to Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology for B.Tech apart from JEE Main scores it conducts its entrance examination/ merit basis on 10+2 examinations maintaining a 50% pass percentage in the relevant subjects. Although, several colleges offer admission through the scores of JEE Main, having better placement preference may be an added advantage.

The last dates regarding the M.Tech admission to Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology differ based on different specializations and entrance standards such as GATE. M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics need a minimum of 30-40 % marks in GATE which means the candidate can get a rank between 10,000-15,000. Cutoff scores themselves may differ from year to year depending on the applicants who are offered and the number of available seats.
