SAIT is not ranked among the top engineering institutions in India. It is acknowledged for offering quality education in Madhya Pradesh, but as far as its ranking is concerned it might not be that good as it is for institutions like IITs or NITs. Although the genuine curriculum and the impartation of practical learning knowledge and technical know-how it is has been reputed for good placement records for its students within some establishments within the local-market. Its position perhaps fluctuates based on the data, but it can be regarded as regional, offering cost-efficient thoroughly practical engineering education for students.

Yes, direct admission is possible at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology, especially for courses like B.Tech. The institute usually keeps some seats under management quota. This is where the student, not being eligible according to the entrance exam cut off, gets admission purely based on his academic record. But in most cases, specific conditions or requirements may exist; hence, they should be sought on the institutes' official websites or offices for admissions. It can also attract more direct entry fees, hence to get such admissions one would first have to think hard to get ready with some all-important documents beforehand.
