The both colleges of Tamil Nadu i.e., Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology [SKCET] and Sri Krishna College of Technology [SKCT] both are on head to head competition.The SKCT which was established in 1985 which is prior than the SKCET which was established in 1998. Sri Krishna College of Technology (SKCT), Coimbatore: Hostel fee for male and female students is 47,000 per year. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RIT), Kottayam: Hostel fee is 6,000 per year.
