If you have well admiration and passion for marine engineering it will be going to be ok otherwise don't join. Let me explain Marine engineering course is not like other engineering branch. After course you are going to sea as a junior/ trainee engineer from there till you become an chief engineer ( if you passionate and if you want bright in our profile) there are so many tests ,examinations conducted by MMD ( directorate of shipping ) for your each promotion onboard ship. Life condition onboard are little bit tough like climatic conditions some time you may not be able to contact your home for a couple of weeks due to various scenari
