The selection criteria for B.E./B.Tech in Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College are that the students have to pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) for candidates from the general category. For candidates from the reserved categories, there may be a relaxation in percentage. Admission is largely done through counseling of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, TNEA, where candidates are filtered through their rank in the TNEA and their cut-off marks.
