Yes, SRM Vadapalani offers direct admission to BTech programme. Aspirants seeking direct admission must fulfil the eligibility requirements to apply for BTech. Candidates must complete Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate with Physics, Mathematics and at least one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Biology /Computer Science /Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and Zoology for BTech admission.

SRM Vadapalani offers seats to BTech course based on SRMJEEE score. SRMJEEE is an entrance exam conducted thrice in a year for two and a half hours. It is a remote proctored online exam conducted for admission to BTech course. Besides, aspirants must also complete Class 12 with relevant subjects with at least 60% aggregate for admission to BTech programme.

SRM Vadapalani admissions are currently open for 2025 session. Admission to all courses is based on entrance or merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates can apply online for the preferred programme. Aspirants applying for SRMJEEE have to pay an application fee of INR 1,400 and INR 1,200 for SRMJEEM. Candidates fulfiling the eligibility criteria can apply for the preferred course.
