For admission to all the UG and PG courses at SRM University, it is mandatory for candidates to pass Class 12 as per the minimium eligibility criteria. Candidates must also fill or attach their scorecard at the time of applying for the respective courses. The university provides direct admission to courses such as BA, BCom, MSc, etc., based on merit of Class 12. However, for admission to courses such as BTech, MBA, BSc, etc., candidates have to also qualify for the entrance exam accepted for the particular courses.

No, SRM IST does not accept CUET score for admission to any of its UG & PG courses. The university conducts its in-house entrance exam for BTech and MTech, i.e., SRM JEE. Further, for admission to MBA course, the university accepts scores of national-level entrance exams such as GMAT, CAT, MAT, TANCE, etc. SRM University also offers direct admission to courses such as BA, MSc, etc., based on the merit of last qualifying exams of previous education.

It's simple. The qualification required for admission to SRMIST varies depending on the programme you are interested in. However, here are some of the general eligibility requirements: A pass in 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination or any other equivalent examination of any authority recognised by SRMIST with a minimum of 60% aggregate/ percentage of marks.In addition to the above, all applicants must meet the following requirements: Be a citizen of India or a foreign national with a valid visa.
