Yes, it is worth going to SRM because it ranks in top 10 private universities of India you have huge infrastructure impeccable college environment. You have huge opportunity to explore and develop yourself in your area of interest be it making f1 cars be it organising fest or be it making drones and what not in the campus. You don't have to face ragging that is a good part. Placements are also decent. So yes it is worth it.

I don't know about the law courses kindly refer to website or contact administration.

Two courses are available for law B.A LL.B. and BBA. LL.B.

You can get any campus you liked based on your rank but for course you had to wait until the counselling you can able to know about the course and campus once you entered in counselling. Course depends upon the selection of students.

SRM University, Chennai offers better placements for B.Tech and if you want to know the placement about any other branch, then kindly mention it.

First of all you have to give me the degree you wants to pursue .my answer will be based on assumptuons that you wants to pursue b.tech.so i have no idea about other colleges other than Srm you can use Shiksha comparison tool to compare. But in Srm university the placement is centralization so if you are bright student then you can get the admission easily.so it depends on your performance .

Yes, they can apply for B.Sc with lateral entry.
