No companies from all parts of India come in for recruiting in SRM and obviously being a good college in south nearly all major south companies do come to SRM.

In Ramapuram and main campus(ktr) MBA is available and the fee is 8 lakhs excluding the hostel.

As days move to the competing one the persons in SRM filter 5000 as the first class and get seats during counseling. Further, the ranks are admitted according the financial attraction of the course and the time of admission.G I've it a try and you will have a chance,of not Chennai campus you might be placed elsewhere.

It depends on the branch you want.
With 32K rank, you will not get CSE, ECE and mechanical but you might get EEE and other branches in the main campus. Else, you can also get CSE/ECE in other branches of SRM. Trend changes every year, might not be the same this year. So, think properly before you commit to something.

You will get civil or electronics with this rank but if you want CSE better go to other colleges because you will not get CSE in VIT.
