SRM is one of the best private universities in Southern India. SRM conducts an entrance exam every year for getting admission to B.Tech i.e. SRMJEE. Overall, in terms of studies, internship and placement, it is the best option.
Thanks.

In India, about 90% of colleges provide lateral entry for Diploma students. I checked SRM College's official website, but I couldn't find any details about lateral entry. And, if there is lateral entry, you have to write an entrance test for it. I would like to suggest you that you directly contact them and ask about lateral entry. Following link will direct you where you can get some information. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/course/b-tech-in-automobile-engineering-srm-institute-of-science-and-technology-chennai-kattankulathur-campus-kattankulathur-242610.

Hello Amal, As far as my knowledge goes, SRM is no more offering lateral admissions to Diploma holders. Earlier it was, but presently there is simply no mention of this anywhere. I would like to get corrected if you find any other information. Perhaps your only option seems to be to follow the procedure of your state for admission into a college in your state.

Yes, SRM University has a lateral entry for students doing Diploma in mechanical engineering. But you need to take the exams for all the 1st year subjects.

I can tell you about SRM University. It has 100% placement in CSE department. Many big firms recruit students from SRM University like Cisco, Amazon and E&Y.
You can check the placement records here.

No, SRM does not provide MBA in logistics and supply chain management. It only provide MBA in sector which are popular among the students. Or, I can phrase in this way, it provides MBA in which aspirants are more.

Yes, you can apply, but the chances are less to get admission. So, you can get admission through management quota.
