Yes, for sure you can get admission into SRM University. Your rank will be below 3000, I think so that you may get all the branches and any course as per your wish.
You can also get some scholarships with this ranks.

Direct admission means management quota. There is no particular fees for management quota. It will be around 7-8 lakhs per annum or even more based on the seats available or their reputation. It is decided by the management.

Yes, you can avail many scholarships if you get a good rank in the SRMJEEE examination. If your rank is below 10000, you will be getting some worthy scholarships. For the ranks till 22000, there are scholarships based on categories which differ in the fee structure.

There are no particular cut-off marks or ranks. If your rank is below 30000 then you can get admission into SRM University at any of its other campuses which means you need to score atleast 170/315.

Obviously its BITS-Pilani. You can never compare it with other colleges. The standards of BITS-Pilani is almost equal to IITs. They offer better education and the placement packages will be very huge. They are also very reputed like IITs .
So, if a situation comes between SRM and BITS-Pilani, it is BITS-Pilani only.

No, it is not like that. Actually, SRM University is a good university which is ranked one among the top private universities in India.
It offers better education and is more popular for its placements and the salary packages.
The average salary packages range from 3-5 Lacs only per annum and the higher salary packages range from 15-20 Lacs per annum or more.
SRM University has the best infrastructure as compared to may other government colleges. So, if you get a seat then you can opt for it.

Yes, it is good to pursue MS from reputed institutions like VIT, SRM, etc. as your reputation and standards will improve and you may also get better salary packages.
If you haven't done B.Tech from a good college then this will be a good choice.
