Yes, there are high chances to get SRM University's main campus with a score of 198/315 in SRM JEE examination. Your rank will be around 10000-13000. So this means you can get a good course at the main campus.

Yes, you can get the computer science engineering course at SRM University but not at the main campus. So you need to wait for the counselling if you want main campus but you can easily get the other campuses to pursue CSE.

With just a score of 138/315 it is not possible to get any course at the main campus. So you cannot get EEE also at the main campus but you may get the EEE course in any other campuses of SRM.

You cannot get scholarship for the ranks till 22000. If your rank is below 10000 then you can get some scholars like that. Only for ECE (electronics and communication engineering) you can get scholarship till 22000.

The admission at SRM University is never based on your board exam marks. It is purely based on the rank secured in the SRM JEE examination. If you had not appeared then your chances to get SRM University is nil.

Getting the category 'A' is not so easy with this score. You need to score at least 200 or above to get them. It also depends on the rank secured. If your rank is 15000 or below then only you can get that scholarship.

It is very difficult to get a seat for mechanical engineering or electrical and electronics engineering at the main campus of SRM University but you can get the other campuses easily.

No, it is not like that. SRM University is also one of the better universities to pursue computer science engineering. There are some other colleges like VIT, BITS Pilani, etc. which are better than SRM university as well.
If you don't get a top one then it is better to take SRM University.

Yes, it is a good choice to pursue B.Tech (engineering). The placements are really better at SRM University's main campus. So it is better to take admission here. The only thing is, the main campus alone is recommended in case of SRM University.
