The placements depend on you, your caliber and potential. Firms would recruit you notwithstanding the place where you have studied, if your work ethics is fine enough. Moreover, SRM is an emerging university.

SRM is definitely a better place to go for. It provides you great infrastructure, good faculty and job security to some extent too.

Lobby is something which works in the legal profession. if you're fine with your grades, CV etc, you would definitely be hired, despite the fact that you belong to any college.

MHA is not aligned to your basic qualifications. Also medical professionals have edge ovet other decipline candidates in the field of hospital administration in job serach and career growth. Your decision to do MBA may not be the right decision in long run. You may rethink and rework your career stratergy.

Hi,
It is not easy to get computer science and engineering course in both SRM University and VIT University with these ranks.
In VIT it is even difficult to get a course with a normal fee. You need to pay more.
In SRM you cannot get the main campus but you can get the other campuses and the Amaravathi campus.

Hi,
For the previous year cut off marks (for the year 2016) you may refer the link below:
www.cutoff.tnea.ac.in
In this link, you need to use an advanced search means you need to select the name of the college, district and caste for knowing the cut off.

With your rank, getting into an NLU seems tough, but never lose hope. Keep a track of vacancies, which would come up after the phases of counselling is over.
SRM, according to me is preferable, because of its quality infrastructure, faculty and placements.

These 3 colleges are better for engineering. SASTRA University, Kumbakonam campus is not the main campus. So it will be better if you go for the Thanjavur campus if you want to prefer SASTRA University.
SRM University, Chennai (KTR campus) is alone the best among all the other campuses of SRM University.
So my preference order will be:
1) SRM University (main campus alone)
2) SASTRA University, Kumbakonam campus
3) Rajalakshmi College of Engineering, Chennai
