Other than CSE, ECE, software engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering are getting the good placements but the student who want to be placed in a good company must excel the other in any of the ways. He should be skilled enough to get placed with a good salary.

Download the rank card from www.srmuniv.ac.in so that you may know your rank as well as the probability to get the admission.
May be you cannot get admission or you may get through management quota.

you really have high chances of getting the SRM main campus without any doubt.
with a rank of 36016. since only the ranks have been declared you have to wait till the counselling dates to be released.

B.Tech + MBA is a good option if you want to go for management jobs whereas if you want to go for pure technical job B.Tech + M.Tech.
