Both the universities are great at their places, as if I talk about LPU, this university is differently great in north zone of India. This university’s reputation is above than any other university around and there is no scope of comparison because LPU have their own standards. University management is one of the best in India, that the students of any college have a case study of LPU Management in their curriculum. Funding for start-ups, projects (quality ones) is also in abundance.Infrastructure :- There are green spaces throughout the campus, including a/c-equipped classrooms, Google and IMAC labs, moot courts, fine art studios, farmland, a space centre, play areas, and both girls' and boys' dorms.Placement: The second most essential thing that a candidate might see in a university or college while applying for admission is placement. So, 90 to 95 out of 100 students at the Lovely Professional University find employment. The highest wage package, specifically in B.Tech, was 64lac annually. 21lacs were spent on management annually. So, in my opinion, the packages are excellent compared to those offered by other universities.Ranking: If I talk about rankings, LPU is among the top 100 private and public universities. The most momentous achievement for me this year was the latest ranking by the world's university ranking among all public and private universities.

Throughout the year, SRMIST organizes a diverse range of cultural events that offer students an excellent platform to showcase their talents and embrace various cultures. Among the popular events are Milan, Tarana, Sarang, Poetry Festival, and Film Festival. Milan, a national-level cultural festival, encompasses dance, music, drama, and art competitions. Tarana, an inter-house cultural competition, presents events such as dance, music, drama, and art contests. Sarang, hosted by the Department of Music and Fine Arts, showcases dance, music, and art performances. Poetry Festival, organized by the Department of English, features poetry readings, competitions, and workshops. The Film Festival, organized by the Department of Media Studies, showcases a wide array of films, including short films, documentaries, and feature films. Alongside these prominent events, SRMIST also hosts numerous smaller cultural events that allow students to actively engage in the university's cultural fabric and gain exposure to diverse cultural experiences.

The quality of the mess food at SRMIST is average, offering various options to cater to different preferences. The menu primarily consists of Indian cuisine, with some international choices available. The benefits of the mess food include its affordability, filling nature, and convenient on-campus location. On the downside, some students find the food to be oily or greasy, and the portion sizes can be small. It is important to note that the quality may vary across different messes. Ultimately, the satisfaction with the mess food depends on personal preference. If you prioritize affordability and convenience, the mess food could be suitable.

As per the examination policy of SRM University Vadapalani (SRMIST), failing to appear for an internal exam will result in the student being ineligible for the end-semester university exam for that particular course. Additionally, they will not be able to register for the course in the following semester. However, there are exceptions to this rule. If a student misses an internal exam due to medical reasons, they can request permission from the Vice-Chancellor to take the exam at a later date. It is important to note that this permission is not guaranteed and requires valid supporting documentation. Attending all internal exams is strongly advised, but in case of inability to do so, students should promptly communicate with their professors to discuss alternative arrangements, such as makeup exams or other accommodations.
