Their faculty appears to be good. They have a decent placement cell. It is little expensive, but I would recommend you to go for it.

For MCA, SRM is an average college. It provides placement every year but there are many colleges other than SRM whose placement is very high. Some mentioned below are LPU Punjab, Chandigarh university, Galgotias University etc.

All the colleges you mentioned above have their own entrance examinations for admission into engineering courses. SRM conducts SRMJEEE entrance examination, BITS, Pilani conducts BITSAT entrance examination, VIT conducts VITEEE entrance examination. Normally, lateral entry is granted in govt colleges or private colleges but SRM is a university and hence information is not very clear. please contact them directly. I am giving you the link:

Both these institutions are very well known and it's difficult to choose between them. I would advise you to attempt both and get admission wherever you succeed.
