Yes you can. Although you are having low marks in Board examination but it is not bad. When you start engineering course, all you do is a new start where everything is new. Therefore you can put your efforts in one direction right from start. You are having decently good enough marks which qualifies you to become a very good Engineer. So definitely you will cope up with the syllabus.

Yes, SRM is an excellent place to study, the professors are experts in their field who dedicate their to ensure that every student learns the concepts which are taught to them in the class.
