Join kiit.frm placement point of view it is bttr.teaching is almost same in most private collgs

Obviously it is good option and SRM is quite good institute to persue a degree.

I would advice u to work hard for jee advance rather than searching colleges.

You may get a seat in SRM main campus with this rank. But this also depends on the number of applicants applying for the branch same as yours. I suggest you should not rely on one option only and also apply for some other best private universities.
