I can give my honest opinion about one private university. Chandigarh University is the best university in north India in terms of academics, faculty cooperation, placement, and many others. Chandigarh University (CU) is a leading Indian Institution offering its students a unique amalgamation of professional and academic excellence. The University has been accredited with the prestigious A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Chandigarh University has become the youngest and the only private university in India to bag an A+ grade in the first cycle of the accreditation process and has also become the only state private university in Punjab to be accredited by NAAC. As per Chandigarh University Placement Reports 2022, the highest package offered at Chandigarh University is INR 52.11 LPA for B.Tech and INR 28 LPA for MBA. I am alumni of the Lovely Professional University so I am only sharing here the information regarding the LPU. An engineering programme that integrates topics from basic Science to technology with applicable practice in the lab and projects to help students develop problem-solving abilities while meeting industry needs. Programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, and other topics will be covered. Algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, and computer software are all topics covered in a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. It is an in-depth study of computer systems and applications. Students in the Computer Science Engineering programme learn about the design, development, and administration of computer software and hardware. 1st Position: Every year, around 500 organizations, both national and multinational, come to LPU for job placement. I am a student at Chandigarh University, and in my opinion, it is one of the top universities in India in terms of providing decent education, good placement records, an excellent learning atmosphere, and improved infrastructure. Industry-led Course at the CSE Department Curriculum developed with input from industry experts and academic leaders, and aligned with national (NAAC & NBA) and international (ABET) accreditation requirements. As part of the curriculum, students will learn about research, innovation, and industrial consulting. More than 400 research publications in prestigious journals and conferences
Workshops and seminars by industry experts are held on a regular basis. Technical Clubs dedicated on enhancing students' practical knowledge
Placements: A large number of well-known organisations, including as Dell, Deloitte, Google, and Amazon, come to school to recruit students, offering the greatest potential wage packages. The maximum compensation package for an MBA offered the previous year was 14 LPA. About 710 students received offer letters from companies, and about 175 students received more than two. Infrastructure: Chandigarh University has the best infrastructure in the city. There are modern labs with well-equipped equipment. To be honest, I have no information about placement at SRM University. However, because many of my acquaintances attended Lovely Professional University, I conclude that, based on the various placement metrics, Lovely Professional University is unquestionably the most sought-after university by prospective employers. LPU is focused about the students' overall development. It has a specialised Career Services Division that works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to place students. Every year, around 550 firms used to come to LPU for job placement. Various external agencies have bestowed High Ranking on LPU, according to my analysis. LPU also takes into account a student's professional interests/pathways, such as corporate jobs, government jobs, higher education, and entrepreneurship.
