For mechanical engineering, SRM will be better than VIT as this college has a better faculty for this branch than VIT.

See, in VIT, there is no chance of getting CS branch, but you can try your best in SRM as in that, there are chances of getting CS branch by some source or via management quota.

The eligibility criteria set by the institute asks a minimum of 50% aggregate in 12th. You can verify the information at the official page of SRM @ http://www.srmuniv.ac.in/admission-india/management/admission-procedure-eligibility

With the old Diploma, you have it won't be possible unless you make a fresh start for aerospace engineering. Because each course of subject has a different basic and have a little relation with other subjects within basic.

For this college, the fee structure is 2 lakhs per year. Plus, the hostel and the mess charges in the hostel fees it depends according to your room choice like single occupancy rooms double occupancy and the triple occupancy rooms.

Hi Januki, entrance exam is compulsory. Eligible candidates need to appear for SRMJEEH (PG) conducted by SRM university.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview based on marks obtained in written test.
Candidates are selected based on marks obtained in graduation, written test and performance in personal interview.
