LPU has the largest residential capacity in the world. In order to ensure proper safety and security of the children. The university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. LPU has a set of rules regarding hostel life and its facilities. LPU provides convenience to your doorstep but expects proper adhering to their discipline structure and code of conduct. 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict actioned used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of such rules. Hostel Rules:
1) Boys are allowed to go outside campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM.
2) Hostellers (Girls) are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents is taken to provide them with the GATE pass.
3) Girls have to enter their specific hostels in specified time duration ie 7 pm. Special Permission will be extended to student for day/night out with the written permission of Warden & Parents. Student needs to post the request on the UMS for weekend outing and avail the due permission from parents & warden for the same. The accommodation at LPU is apartment style. Here are few highlights:

Dear Barani Viknesh, BBA LL.B. Hons. Programme is good at LPU. Although SRM is a good university, I have no idea about the B.A. LL.B. At SRM. My friend did B.A. LL.B. From LPU, so I will share the details of this programme at LPU with you. LPUs School of Law is approved by the Bar Council of India. The students are groomed for bright professional careers by providing a wide range of exposure to theoretical as well as practical aspects of the law. The school organizes international conferences, visits by nationally acclaimed law practitioners to allow the students to gain skills and experience in the field of law. Students get real-time experiences through moot court competitions organized at national and international levels. Students completed their internship with Jalandhar Police Commissionerate and learned vital aspects of the handling of sensitive cases by police. Policing posits a host of challenges to the police personnel who have to strike a balance between competing values of individual freedom and the establishment of peace. Students were exposed to the saliency of weapon handling, undertaking patrolling and surveillance tasks, resolving general law and order issues by police as part of the duty. Students With Mr Gautam Singhal (ADCP, Jalandhar, Punjab Police):
Students are groomed through internship exposure and individual-oriented mentoring for a bright career in the legal arena. Our students have interned in reputed law firms and under High Court judges of different states.
