The university is visited by top companies such as Accenture, Hindustan Unilever Limited, IBM, and others. The university also provides internerships and various other facilities to students and faculty. The university also arranges faculty and student exchange programmes. In general, SRM University Chennai is ranked 18 by NIRF 2023 under the University category and is also ranked 28 by NIRF 2023 under the Engineering category. SRM is one of the best ranked universities present in India. Its campuses are present in Kattankulathur – Chennai, Ramapuram – Chennai, Vadapalani – Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, and Delhi – NCR.

For admission to all the UG and PG courses at SRM University, it is mandatory for candidates to pass Class 12 as per the minimium eligibility criteria. Candidates must also fill or attach their scorecard at the time of applying for the respective courses. The university provides direct admission to courses such as BA, BCom, MSc, etc., based on merit of Class 12. However, for admission to courses such as BTech, MBA, BSc, etc., candidates have to also qualify for the entrance exam accepted for the particular courses.

No, SRM IST does not accept CUET score for admission to any of its UG & PG courses. The university conducts its in-house entrance exam for BTech and MTech, i.e., SRM JEE. Further, for admission to MBA course, the university accepts scores of national-level entrance exams such as GMAT, CAT, MAT, TANCE, etc. SRM University also offers direct admission to courses such as BA, MSc, etc., based on the merit of last qualifying exams of previous education.

Candidates who withdraw their admission and seeking for fee refund at SRM University, must contact the admission office of the university and go through the refund policies. As per the details collated from the unofficial sources, candidates can also donwload the refund form from the official website. After filling the form and attaching the relevant documents, the form can be submitted to the SRM university admin department main campus.
