The total tuition fees of M.Tech ranges between INR 3.20 Lacs and INR 17.50 lakh. The fee includes the integrated MBA fee as well. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.However, this information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change.

The deemed-to-be university accepts GATE score for admission to M.Tech course. However, aspirants who have not qualified GATE can also get admission to M.Tech course by qualifying SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the university. SRM Institute of Technology Kattankulathur will conduct SRMJEEE in two phases. After the completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to attend the counselling and document verification round. Only after the payment of course fee, admission is confirmed in the university.

MTech is a two-year course divided into four semesters. SRM Institute of Technology Kattankulathur offers M.Tech in full-time mode in 27 specialisations and part-time in nine specialisations.
