Admissions to the majority of courses at SRM University Andhra Pradesh (SRM AP) are based on entrance examination, SRMJEEE-SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering-for the B.Tech courses. There may be few courses where the candidate can apply through direct admissions on the basis of their merit criteria or the university's conducted entrance exams. It is, however advisable to check on specific requirements for eligibility and admissions specifically for the course applied, as these are varied in different courses. No, you can’t get admission at SRM College (SRM University) with APEAMCET marks. For admission into its engineering programmes, SRM University conducts its own entrance examination known as SRMJEEE whereas APEAMCET is mainly for admissions into colleges that are affiliated to Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The SRM Institute formerly known as SRM University is a private Institute of Science and Technology, In the district of Guntur, Amaravati imparts BTech, Mtech, BA, Bsc, Bcom, computer Application, IT etc. courses for admission. The SRM institution do not accept the score of APEAMCET. This Institute takes the exam of SRM JEE through which score is take into account for admission in Btech, Mtech, Computer Aplication, IT, and other general courses admission. Othewise you have to take admission through Management Quota system of admission in higher fees.

A minimum aggregate score of 60% or equivalent grade point in Standard / Class X, XII and applicable/relevant UG program.Relevant UG Programmes are- BE/BTech in CSE/IT/SWE (or) MSc (CSE/IT) or MCA. Admissions year 2023–24 are open for all programmes at SRM University, Andhra Pradesh. Through the official website, students may apply. The deadline for BTech and BSc Phase 3 admission applications is July 22–23. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CUET UG 2023 results on July 15. CUET Undergraduate Counselling will probably take place provisionally between July and August.
