JEE Mains exam is considered as the toughest exam in the engineering field and the syllabus of JEE Mains is designed in such a way that all the portions of class 11th and 12th fall under its syllabus. So, just preparing for JEE Mains is enough to prepare for SRMJEEE but there is one thing, only 2 lakh students qualify for JEE Advanced exam and every year 11 lakh students appear for the exam so, what these 9 lakh students do? A little bit of preparation and overview about the syllabus and questions is quite enough to crack the exam easily.
One thing, just see the syllabus of SRMJEEE and then check if any topic is missing or not and after completing the particular chapter, just go for the previous year's question paper. 1. Understand clearly each and every single concept from textbooks. Be it Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics, try to solve each objective question from the textbooks for clearing the concepts.
2. Plan your preparation well in advance as to finish each of the chapters, revising and practising them accordingly. Every single topic plays a major role in clearing the SRMJEEE exam.
3. Focusing right from the early stages and studying regularly throughout the duration for preparation of the SRMJEEE exam will be very beneficial instead of cramming at the last minute.
4. Identify the exam format in a thorough manner. Prepare yourself in such a way that high weightage chapters are dealt in advance. Clearing all your doubts well in advance for each and every topic is necessary for clearing the exam
5. Time is of utmost importance. So, measure your time allotted for each query and work accordingly. Time management can help you to get through all the questions in the exam.

1. Practice with Sample papers of SRMJEEE
Self-assessment is an important aspect of the plan on how to prepare for SRMJEEE. Candidates are advised to put their learning to test by attempting the SRMJEEE 2018 sample papers. This exercise serves two purposes. First, it allows candidates to know where they stand in terms of their preparation. Second, candidates can know the weightage of the topics to be studied. Moreover, the old saying Practice makes a person perfect holds true. Constant practice will give candidates familiarity with the exam pattern along with ideas on improving their speed and time management.
2. Make sure you revise well
Revision is a very important part of the How to prepare for SRMJEEE 2018? plan. Every 10 to 15 days, it is mandatory that candidates revise the topics they have completed studying. Revision is important to ensure that candidates dont forget what they have studied. If they dont touch the topics they have studied earlier, there is every chance of forgetting most of it.

SRMJEE mainly focuses on mains topic and is easier than Mains as seen from preparation perspective.
Although, the competition remains the hard when you have to get the desired branch and fee waiver for the session.
The most important part of the syllabus is the focus should be done first on main topics.
The syllabus follows chemistry, thermodynamics, mole concepts, atomic structure, alkane, alkene, alkyne, haloalkane, combustion of fuels and calorific values, P-Block, D-Block, ionic equilibrium and a onetime quick revision on NCERT topics.
For physics, it is NLM, forces, kinematics, SHM, waves, fluids, thermodynamics, heat, capacitance, EMI, Faraday's law, rotational and circular motion, ray and wave optics and few measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and screw gauge.
In maths, the 2d geometry including parabola hyperbola, ellipse and circles, calculus that is differentiation, integration, AOD, area under the curve, series, functions, permutation and combination and probability.
Also, don't forget to solve previous year papers if available. They are helpful.

There is no such special coaching for SRMJEE. Prepare rigorously for JEE and you can easily crack SRMJEE. I would suggest to aim for IITs, NITs and BITS.

SRMJEEE is actually not a very tough exam when compared to JEE Mains, BITSAT, etc., but that doesn't mean things can be taken for granted either, particularly taking into consideration the heavy competition that there is for such exams. So, read further to gain an insight on the little you could do to crack this little nut of an exam with a really good rank.
First of all, take a look at the syllabus that is given to you in the SRM prospectus. Most of it would be the same as your class 11th and 12th PCM syllabus. If you are a CBSE student, you will find that they are exactly the same topics as in the NCERTs.
Next, try to gain a good conceptual understanding of the same and then work out certain numerical problems in each of the topics in Physics and Chemistry (if any) and selected problems in Maths. Just so as to revise the concepts (try to concentrate on the areas you had trouble gaining clarity during the boards and work to clear them).
Try solving the sample papers provided in the prospectus or the website, if time permits. If you are already undergoing some sort of coaching for the JEE Mains, I believe this should not be hard for you and you would perhaps be accustomed to tougher papers.
After you have done all this (if you have done half of all that I have mentioned above, this exam is still going to be a calk walk), just keep calm and take your exam. Mind you, there is negative marking in SRMJEEE, unlike the VIT entrance test.
