Since, they have released only the ranks, you must wait till the counselling dates. If you are called for counselling then please attend it and try your luck.

It's not possible as last year, closing rank for main branch was 10000 and you got 37000 so if you want to get admission in SRM University choose another branch.

Last year 31000 was the closing rank for mechanical engineering. I would suggest you to take part in counselling as the closing rank of other 3 campuses were 70000.
