Hi Javed,
The admission at SRM University depends on the ranks and average scores of candidates who are writing the exam. 30th April is the last date for the exam. So after that, probably on May 2, they will reveal the ranks and cut-off marks.
You can take a decision. Till then download your scorecard.
There is a provision to appear for the exam again if you are not satisfied with your performance. So, you can pay the fee and write the exam again. Apply for the 2nd exam through student dashboard here:
srmuniv.ac.in
All the best.

The scores depend on the average score of candidates. Since the total score is 315, and there are no negative marking, there are many chances for the cut off to go higher.
A decent score means, a score which can get an admission in the college. So, the all India rank could tell whether your is a good one or not.

You can get good branches but for CS, it's very difficult unless you pay extra fees.

Dear Ananya,
It is hard to say on the basis of marks because it all matters on the basis of ranks.
To be honest, its difficult to get CSE with these marks in the merit category (A). You can get admissions from other categories (B,C) which have more tuition fees (highly exorbitant rates).
CSE branch gets over in merit by 3000 - 5000 rank max. You should apply for online counselling.
