Getting admitted to SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science may be difficult for someone with an SRMJEEE rank of 17647. There will only be two phases of the SRMJEE. SRMIST has updated the SRMJEE 2024 test dates online. The officials will conduct the SRM B.Tech admission exam in two phases. The SRM BTech exam's first phase is slated to take place on April 20–22, 2024. The second phase of SRMJEE 2024 is scheduled for April 21–23, 2024. The SRM University is expected to make the SRMJEEE 2024 result available on its official website 10 days after the exam. For the SRMJEEE result 2024, candidates will need to provide their email address and password. Upon the announcement of the SRM results in 2024, eligible students will have the opportunity to participate in the counselling process.

The national engineering entrance test (SRMJEE) is required for admission to BTech programmes offered at SRMIST campuses. All SRM Group colleges and universities in Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, and Tiruchirappalli); Delhi NCR Campus at Ghaziabad (UP); SRM University, Sonepat, Haryana; and SRM University, AP, Andhra Pradesh use SRMJEEE as a common admission exam.
