Hi there, Staff Selection Commission SSC is a government organisation that conducts various exams every year to recruit candidates for Group-B and -C posts in various ministries /departments /organizations of the Government of India. Every year thousands of vacancies are filled by SSC in Government departments. While a government job helps to build a stable career, it is also loaded with responsibilities. Hello Aspirants!
Yes, Definitely. NET basically tests your subject knowledge and if you have read well during your college, it won't be that difficult for you. It also depends on your subject. I had commerce and most of the preparation for NET was from Graduation books. Hence, I could qualify it in the first attempt itself. One more positive aspect is that the exam cycle for both the exams is different which can be taken advantage of. NET is a one time thing. Strategy-

The focus should be on the subjects such as quantitative aptitude, English, general studies and reasoning. For scoring higher marks in Tier I, regular practice of mock/ previous year question papers is a must. For Quantitative aptitude, concentrate on areas which have been constantly asked in the examination such as SI/CI, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, etc.

SSC CGL is open to applicants from all streams. Since 'best' vary with individuals, you have to know your own aptitude and interests and decide which one of the above programs you mentioned would be best for you. You can also check the various posts available and specific criteria and choose the stream accordingly. For example if you want to become a Assistant Audit Officer then B.Com and MBA is recommended.
