No, the Commission can change the number of SSC CGL exam centres assigned to any region. The Commission mention the list of SSC CGL exam centres in the official notification. The candidates are required to select the SSC CGL exam centre in the official application form. The Commission assess the exam centres assigned to the region and can change accordingly basis the number of candidates who appeared in the exam.

The Commission assess the exam centres allotted to each region after the examination and the Commission can change the number of exam centre allotted to a specific region.The number of candidates who appeared in the exam is the key criterion for assigning a state to the SSC CGL exam centre.

The candidates should calculate their marks from the answer key and compare them with the average of last five years.The Commission also releases the tentative answer key and invites the representations against the incorrect answers. 81,752 candidates were selected for the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 2 exam. The exam is scheduled to be held from October 25–27, 2023. It is expected that 12,36,202 candidates (49.97%) participated in the computer-based Tier-I Examination. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted online at the designated exam centres only. The Commission released the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 result on September 19. The Commission also released the SSC CGL 2023 Cutoff for all the posts groups and categories within them.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held from July 14 to July 27, 2023.The exam was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam consisted of four sections with 100 multiple choice questions and a maximum of 200 marks.The qualifying marks for the exam were 30% for the Unreserved category.
