The Aadhaar card is not mandatory but preferable for CGL applications. However, if candidates did not have an Aadhaar number, they could use the details of any other ID proof that they had. The candidates can give any of the identity cards mentioned in the list given in the SSC application form. The candidates should read and understand the eligibility conditions given in the official SSC CGL notification.

Yes, candidates could fill out the SSC CGL application form under the 'Results Awaited' category. The Commission provides such a facility in the SSC CGL application form also. The candidates can apply for the SSC CGL exam in the 'result awaited category' but the candidates need to acquire the educational qualification before the last date of application. If the required educational qualification is acquired after the last date of application, the candidature of the candidates is not considered.

No, the SSC CGL application fee, once paid is non-refundable. The fee once paid cannot be refunded at any point in time. The Commission mentioned that the application fee will not be refunded even when the candidates withdraw their applications. The Commission does not refund the application fee under any condition. There is no provision provided for the refund of application fee. Such facility was provided by UPSC earlier under the application withdrawal scheme.
