For the post of Assistant Audit Officer under SSC-CGL exam, the minimum requirements are:
1. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
2. Desirable Qualification for Assistant Audit Officer posts: Master in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics or Charted Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary

You need to present your case in true way simply mentioned true facts why there was a gap and impress with your knowledge and skills because that will be main factors for selection.
