As per the official notification, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam is scheduled to be held on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th July 2024. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Syllabus covers four subjects: General Awareness, English, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.To qualify for the SSC CHSL exam, candidates must clear the SSC CHSL Cut Off for Tier 1 and Tier 2. No, the SSC CHSL syllabus does not change every year.SSC CGL syllabus is released every year with the official notification. The Commission release the SSC CGL syllabus every year with the notification that governs the exam of that year. In Tier 1 of the SSC CHSL exam, a total of 100 questions are asked. As per the official notification, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 is divided into four sections- English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Each section contains 25 MCQs of 2 marks each. Therefore, each section is of 50 marks.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 contains objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs). On the other hand, SSC CHSL Tier 2 is objective type as well, except for Module-II of Section-3, which is a Typing or Skill Test. The questions are set in English, Hindi and language opted by candidates, except for Module-II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II of Tier 2 examination.

Yes, SSC CHSL Tier 1 and Tier 2 are conducted in an online mode. SSC CHL Tier 1 exam is the most important tier of the SSC CHSL exam, and hence the candidates should practice so that they can score better on this tier. The marks scored in the Tier 1 exam are normalized by the Staff Selection Commission SSC and the result is prepared based on the normalized marks. The candidates need to score equal to or more than the cutoff marks to get selected for the next tier.
