Yes, it is mandatory to appear for all the two tiers of SSC CHSL exam. Candidates qualifying for the CHSL Tier 1 exam are called to appear for the Tier 2 paper. The SSC CHSL Tier 2 is conducted in two sessions - Session –I & Session II, on the same day. Session-I includes conducting of Section-I, Section-II, and Modules-I of Section-III and Session-II includes conducting of Modules-II of Section-III. It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all the sections of Tier II.

Yes, there is a negative marking in the SSC CHSL exam for wrong answers. In SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam, there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answers. In SSC CHSL Tier 2, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section II and Modules-I of Section III. Candidates are, therefore, advise to mark their answers with high accuracy in the SSC CHSL examination.

SSC JE Paper 1 contains objective-type questions. SSC JE Paper 2 contains descriptive questions. SSC JE Paper 1 works as a screening exam and most of the candidates are filtered out for the main exam. There is a negative marking in the SSC JE Paper 1 which makes the paper more difficult. Candidates should prepare for the SSC JE exam in a integrated manner.

The Staff Selection Commission reduced the number of SSC CGL 2022 Vacancies on May 11, 2023, to 36,001. The Commission notified the SSC CGL 2022 final vacancy list. Earlier, the Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL 2022 vacancies on February 7, 2023. The total number of SSC CGL vacancies was 36,012 in that iteration. The Commission released 37,409 vacancies for the exam in the first iteration but later it was revised on April 26, 2023. The highest number of vacancies are for Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants.

The SSC JE Paper 1 is conducted in three shifts on a single exam day. The SSC JE Shift 1 is conducted from 9:00 to 11:00 am, the Shift 2 is from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and Shift 3 is from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The exact shift timing is mentioned on the SSC JE admit cards of candidates.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for the SSC JE exam. Candidates can apply for the SSC JE till they attain the maximum age limit mentioned in the official notification for their category. The Commission also provides the age relaxation to certain categories. Candidates should check the official notification to know about all such relaxations.
