To register for SSC GD you can follow the steps given below:
Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission SSC at SSC. Nic. In. Click on the "Register Now" link on the home page. Fill in your basic details such as name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc. Upload your photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned. Aligarh is a city in Uttar Pradesh. In SSC GD it comes under central region. Agra (3001) and Meerut (3011) centres are near to Aligarh. So you can opt for these centres for SSC GD.

No, you cannot change your post preference after the exam is over. When filling out the SSC GD application form, you must enter the post preference code. Once you have submitted this form, you are not allowed to change your post preference. So, you should be careful while filling out the post-preference code section of the application form. It is mandatory to fill out all seven preferences on the GD form. Once the exam process is over, the selected candidates will be posted according to the post preferences they have provided in their application form.

The SSC GD Constable Exam is conducted to recruit constables for general duty GD in multiple forces. You can join the following Central Armed Police Forces after passing the SSC GD for Constable (General Duty):
1. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
2. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
3. Sashastra Seem Bal (SSB)
4. Secretariat Security Force (SSF)
5. Border Security Force (BSF)
