Yes, the Staff Selection Commission prescribes syllabus for both SSC JE Paper 1 and Paper 2. the SSC JE exam has two stages that are mentioned below:
SSC JE Paper 1 - Objective type
SSC JE Paper 2 - Descriptive Type
There is a negative marking in the SSC JE paper 1. The marks secured in the Paper 1 and 2 are counted for the final merit.

There is no change in the syllabus of the SSC JE exam 2024. The exam continues to have two papers- Paper 1 (Ojective type) and Paper 2 (Conventional type). Paper 1 determines the General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering tendencies of the candidates. You can edit the SSC JE registration form and correct the details entered by you only if the Commission activates the SSC JE application correction window. However, if the SSC does not open the SSC JE online form window, you will not be able to make any corrections or changes. The Commission provides the opportunity for the SSC JE application correction after the application process is over.
