The last date to apply for the SSC JE exam is April 18, 2024. The Staff Selection Commission released the JE application 2024 on March 28, 2024. The Commission provided 21 days to the candidates for filling out the SSC JE applications. After the closing of the application window, the application correction window will be activated on April 22 & 23, 2024. The Commission will not extend the application date for the year 2024 after April 18, 2024.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the notification for the SSC JE exam on March 28, 2024. The notification was released to recruit Junior Engineers in different Departments under Government. Candidates are usually recruited in departments/ organisations such as Central Water Commission, Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Military Engineer Services MS Farakka Barrage Project, Border Road organisation (BRO), Directorate of Quality Assurance (Naval) and National Technical Research organisation (NTRO) after clearing the SSC JE recruitment drive.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases the SSC JE result in the form of a PDf which is accessible on the official website without logging into the registered account. However, the candidates have to login for the individual scores that they have secured in the SSC Junior Engineer's exam. No, the result for the Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer (SSC JE) varies as per the categories (UR/SC/ST/EXS/PwD/EWS) of the candidates. The Commission prepares the separate list for each category and the result is based on the cut off prepared for that category. No, SSC JE result is released in online mode only on the official website of the commission. The Commission do not make any communication regarding the result other than its official release. The candidates are required to check their result online only in the official pdf. The candidates can download the SSC JE result pdf for future reference.

Yes, it is mandatory to appear for both paper 1 and 2 of SSC JE exam. Both the papers are compulsary for the SSC JE exam as the Paper 1 is conducted to shortlist the candidates for mains exam and is qualifying in nature. On the other hand, the paper 2 (mains) exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for the  Document verification.The final cut off released on the basis of the marks obtained in the paper 2 exam and the document verfication. The candidates securing the marks equal to or more than the cut off marks is considered qualified for the SSC JE exam and gets recruited as per the preferences made by the candidates.
