SSC JE Paper 1 contains objective-type questions. SSC JE Paper 2 contains descriptive questions. SSC JE Paper 1 works as a screening exam and most of the candidates are filtered out for the main exam. There is a negative marking in the SSC JE Paper 1 which makes the paper more difficult. Candidates should prepare for the SSC JE exam in a integrated manner.
