Based on the marks scored in the Paper-I.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II. Based on the performance in Paper 1+Paper 2, candidates are shortlisted for document verification.

The allotment process of SSC JHT is given below:The Commission makes the final allotment of posts on the basis of merit-cum-preferences of Posts/Departments given by the candidates and once a post is allotted, no change of posts will be made by the Commission due to non-fulfillment of any post specific requirements of physical/medical/ educational standards.SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD candidates, who are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards, will not be adjusted against the reserved share of vacancies. Posts of Junior Translator in BRO has stringent requirement of physical and medical standards including Physical Efficiency Test (Detail available at Annexure-XIV). Examination of such physical and medical standards is conducted after the final selection of candidates by BRO. If candidates fails in such tests, their candidature isnot considered for any other post/department. Candidates are therefore advised to thoroughly go through these requirements and give their considered preference of posts. SSC JHT exam is conducted for multiple posts for various Ministries/ Departments/Offices.

Once the objection deadline is closed, the objections submitted by candidates is reviewed by the subject-matter experts. If the objections are found to be correct, the examination authority revises the answers and publish the final answer key. On the basis of the final answer key, SSC JHT result is calculated. SSC use normalisation of marks to calculate the scores. This is done to adjust any variation in the difficulty level of the question papers across various shifts.

After downloading the answer key, candidates should compare their responses with the same. While going through the answer key, if candidates are not satisfied with the answer of any question, they can challenge it as per the format prescribed by SSC. SSC JHT answer key is released few days after the exam is conducted. The answer key is released online and candidates can download it by logging with user ID and password. The provisional answer key is released so that candidates can raise objections if they have any doubt. The final answer key is released after examining the objections submitted by candidates.
