The Staff Selection Commission changed the quantum of negative marking recently in the SSC MTS paper. Negative marking in the SSC MTS exam can significantly impact the overall cutoff score. With each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted in the SSC MTS paper. The impact of negative marking on the overall cutoff score depends on the number of incorrect answers and the difficulty level of the questions. Candidates should aim to minimize the number of incorrect answers to maximize their chances of qualifying for the exam.
